This is the area where we can distribute the note taking from today's class. Since these notes are formatted like a discussion this means other students (besides the main note taker) can add elaborations or corrections to the posted notes.
How do you keep up with the newly posted notes? Just reload your webpage every few minutes. On most browsers you can use the shortcut of control-R (for Windows) or command-R (for Macs).
Today's note taking will begin with Meighen and then the work will be distributed amongst several different students over our two hour "regular" session. (From 3 to 5 and beyond students can audio record, audio edit, and get technical help from me.)
If you are asked to be a note taker then the key will be to post your updated notes in reasonably timed chunks. That is, rather than a very long set of notes taken over 20 minutes, it would be better to add new "comments" or chunks of notes every 5 minutes or so. However, if you are a primary note taker you'll have to decide what a reasonable "chunk" of notes is and when to post a new "chunk."

Knowledge Dig 9
Amazingly we're at the last Knowledge Dig of the semester. Yikes!
As you already know, the main purpose of a knowledge dig is to encourage students to dig beneath the surface of the readings and audiobook (and any other relevant learning materials for a specific session). Towards this end digs are formatted like a discussion.

Dig 9b: The deadline for this portion of the dig is Wednesday May 5 at midnight. By this time you need to have posted at least one response to another student's post.

You can submit more than one question or more than one comment.
